Only by boat, Munich is difficult to get to. ;-)

Arrival by train:
Trains from all directions provide service to Munich’s Central Station. Once arrived, the onward journey is easy-peasy. From Munich Central Station, the metro line U2 in direction to Feldmoching runs every 9 minutes, the stop is called Milbertshofen. From the metro station you will reach the location within about 5 minutes by walking along the street Keferloher Straße in westerly direction.

Arrival by car:
All motorways in direction to Munich – with the excemption of the A8 coming from Stuttgart - lead to the „Mittlerer Ring“ (2R). Continue on the „Mittlerer Ring“ in northern direction. The exit is near the Olympic Centre and its Olympic Tower. Depending on which direction you are appoaching from, the exit is called either „Milbertshofen“ or „ Belgradstraße/ Knorrstraße“. Follow the street „Schleißheimer Straße“ in a northerly direction and you will reach the „Kulturhaus“.

Approaching from Stuttgart and the A8, drive until the end of the motorway and straight on ‚Verdistraße‘ until you reach the Botanical Garden, turn left on to the ‚Wintrichring‘ and then on to the ‘Georg-Brauchle-Ring‘. The street will reach the ‚Mittlerer Ring‘ (2R). From there follow the street in an easterly direction and take the above mentioned exit.

Arrival by plane:
There are direct flights to Munich Airport from all major cities. The airport is located approx. 35 km away from the city centre. There are two suburban train lines (S1 and S8) running from the terminals to the city centre. The travel from the airport to the Central Station takes about 41 Minuten (S8) or 46 Minuten (S1). Onward journey from there see under ‚Arrival by train‘.
